Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered into a search form is sent to the third-party results provider. Our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. If you contact us, we receive the contents of your message and use them to respond.
Automatically Collected Details
Hosting services keep routine server information, such as an IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and timestamps. We review this in aggregate for site maintenance and usage patterns. Cookies or related technologies may be used for basic analytics and, where relevant, advertising measurement.
What We Do With This Data
We use the limited information to operate Redmond Residents Directory, diagnose problems, measure aggregate traffic, and improve its reference material. We do not sell visitor lists or create individual visitor profiles.
Links to Other Websites
Links lead to County and State portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search services. Their own privacy terms control data entered on those services. That includes sponsored search results supplied by a third party.
Who Might See Your Data
Hosting and support providers process server logs on our behalf. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic details described above. We disclose information only when required by valid legal process.
How We Protect Your Data
The service uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for as long as the stated operational purposes require. Because there are no visitor accounts, Redmond Residents Directory does not maintain a visitor password or account profile.
Users Under 18
This service is intended for adults and is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly gather personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has sent information to us, contact us so it can be removed.
Your Oregon Privacy Rights
The Oregon Consumer Privacy Act may provide rights to access, correct, or delete certain personal data held by a covered business. Because Redmond Residents Directory retains very little, a request usually involves checking the contact mailbox and applicable server logs, then removing information that is found and subject to removal. Send a request through the Contact page. Oregon, Deschutes County, and City of Redmond public records are controlled by their custodian, not by us; send a record-removal or correction request to that office.
Updates to This Policy
Revisions to this policy will appear here. Continuing to use the service after a revision means that you accept the revised policy.
